Requirements and Emotional Intelligence

Requirement analysis is critical to the success of a development project.  Understanding how to gather and document requirements will make your job much easier and the development process smoother – not to mention your project more successful.  While requirements analysis can be long and arduous, emotional intelligence plays a huge role in the process.  The growing acknowledgement by professionals of the importance and relevance of emotions to work outcomes is the primary reason to explore its application in business analysis specifically requirements gathering.  This session will provide some suggestions for gathering and documenting requirements but also in assessing and developing the emotional intelligence of the analyst.
